North Cape Sightseeing - Minibus

Approx. 4- 5 hours
Cruise Friendly
Minibus

A bus tour? Technically. But with guides who fish, dance, and know the island like their own backyard. Come curious – leave a little more Arctic.

This is not your average sightseeing trip. It’s not a shuttle to a globe on a cliff. This is your window into life on Magerøya – a windswept island full of quiet drama, colorful fishing villages, ancient cultures, and a tight-knit community that feels more like family.

Our guides are not just guides. They hike these mountains, fish these waters, join volunteer beach clean-ups, share laughs and dance at the local bar, and truly LIVE this place. Through them, you’ll get a glimpse of a lifestyle shaped by polar nights, midnight suns, and a deep respect for the land.

You’ll travel across rugged Arctic landscapes to the legendary North Cape, with meaningful stops along the way, from reindeer and stockfish to real live king crabs. And whether you’re in a big bus or minibus, the route is the same, the stories are just as rich, and the experience is always authentic.

🦀 Optional King Crab Meal

For those who wish, the journey can be upgraded with a taste of the north — freshly steamed king crab, served with lemon, bread, homemade waffles, and coffee.

Please note that at the moment, online payment for the King Crab Meal is not available. Guests who wish to enjoy it can simply pre-register free of charge by selecting “Pre-registration for King Crab Meal” when booking.

Each season has its own rhythm, and since this meal depends on several local partners (fishermen, supply conditions, and the king crab season itself), we can only confirm availability in spring, when the crabs return to the shallow waters to breed.

If the meal is confirmed, we’ll contact you in spring and send a separate invoice for the meal at that time. And if the King Crab feast happens — lucky you! The tour will stretch to about 5 hours instead of 4, giving you time to savor every bite. Those who prefer to skip the meal can simply slow down in the fishing village, warm up with coffee and waffles at their own expense, while the crab crew crack shells nearby. ☕️🧇✨
